QSpot - Open-Source Spotify client for N900 (Maemo5) / Harmattan platforms

QSpot is an open-source Qt-based Spotify client developed for the Maemo5 (N900) and Harmattan (N9/N950) platform, and it utilises the official libspotify API for backend communication with the streaming music service. QSpot requires an active Spotify Premium subscription!

Current features of the QSpot client

• Playlist and play queue (Now Playing) views
• Support for the Starred tracks playlist
• Search functionality
• Album and artist views (accesible via longpress on a track in play queue / playlist views) (currently Maemo5 version only)
• Play queue shuffle supported (currently Maemo5 version only)
• Scrobbling support for Last.fm
• Settings dialog for e.g., search and music buffering parameters
• Playback control via headset (currently Maemo5 version only)
• Landscape and portrait modes
• Support for offline synchronisation of playlists (i.e., offline mode)

Latest release

The latest QSpot version (1.1.0-1) can be downloaded here (changelog here), as well as from the maemo.org extras-devel repositories. QSpot (1.0.1-4) is now also available from the maemo.org Extras (stable) repository.

MeeGo / Harmattan version

Version 0.3.0 of QSpot for MeeGo Harmattan (N9/N950) has been released; it is currenly available for install from the apps.formeego.org (currenly requires enabling of Testing repository).
